Reviews

This course provides an excellent overall view of what is involved in FGM – its medical context and impacts, why some communities practice it, and what to do if you suspect a girl is likely to be cut (eg a teacher or health visitor). The content is well presented with diagrams and sensitive language throughout, and the exercises are helpful to ensuring understanding.

This course is the most detailed, interesting and informative training course in FGM. My understand of the topic is so much more than before I completed it. I feel much more better able to handle cases involving FGM and how manage the complications and safeguarding issues.
